A demonstration Lesson for reading skill

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious the Ever Merciful

Miss Marwa Al Wahidi, teacher of English, has performed a demonstration lesson for 7th grade students. The target group of this lesson was newly appointed teachers of English in the North Gaza area. The teacher has presented new vocabulary of Unit 18, lesson 1 which is entitled " Arts and Crafts of Palestine " and then she checked students' understanding. Later, students skimmed the paragraphs and do some tasks. The teacher used many successful techniques in presenting and introducing this lesson, she used: Computer, LCD, worksheets, group/or/and pair work, classroom managment, role play, and also the video tape which introduced the arts and crafts of Palestine with pictures and videos related to the arts and crafts.

Supervisor, Mr. Maher Sharaf, thanked Miss Marwa for her invitation to this lesson and all other participants appreciated her well-prepared and excellent performance and the students' as well.

Teachers of English at Beit Lahia Girls' School thanked Miss Marwa and discussed procedures of the lesson with her, appreciating her efforts and new strategies introduced in this lesson.

Mrs. Nawal Al Mujaber, school principal, introduced her feedback about the lesson, congratulating Miss Marwa for the success.
